Flowers Plantation is a 3,000 acre planned community located just 23 miles East of Raleigh, NC. The Research Triangle Park is only 35 minutes away. Per the National Census, our community is located in the fastest growing county of North Carolina, Johnston County. Clayton is only 2 miles west of Flowers Plantation.
Planning for this vast, contiguous acreage began in 1982. Residents have been moving into our communities since 1985. The entire Flowers Plantation community is unique in that there is enough land to provide wooded buffers to screen the neighborhoods from the highways and streets which have evolved into Parkways.
There are miles and miles of walking and biking trails throughout the neighborhoods. Families move here to escape the traffic and clamor of the urban cities of Raleigh and Durham. Buildings are old historical landmarks and those which are not, are designed to look that way!

FROM RALEIGH
Hwy 264 East to Smithfield Road Exit. Turn right. Follow to the intersection of Turnipseed Road. Turn left. Follow Turnipseed Road to Buffalo Road. Turn right. Follow Buffalo Road to the intersection of NC 42E. Turn right. The Flowers Plantation Visitors Center will be several miles down on the left.
FROM SMITHFIELD & I-95
